Ah, Reality TV

So, I watched my first full episode of "The Bachelor" last week. It was horrible. 20 "perfect women" to compete for one "perfect man." Good grief. He took each of the three remaining girls each on an overnight date and if all went well, invited them to stay with him in the "fantasy suite." How romantic. So of course all three of the girls accept his invitation. hmmm...I wonder what they did behind their closed door? I can only wonder. He professes his love to two of the women, who profess their love back and it is all happy until he tells one of the girls he is falling in love with her, but also someone else. Real nice, that would make the date. But for some odd reason she still decided to stay in the room with him; how strange.

I saw an add for some other stupid "reality" love show--Love and Money--or something. One of the girls in the clip said she was on the show to find the "prefect man." Yea, great place to find the perfect guy...on a public TV show with 15 other women and ONE (1) guy. ONE. I hate to break it to you hun, but you don't have too many choices...so you had better hope that the ONE (singular) guy is the right one and if, by some miracle, he is, you had better be pretty damn convincing to win him over 15 other catty barbie-doll women. *sigh* These shows make me so angry, which makes me ask my self *why* do I watch them!?! Luckily I can say I have only seen one whole episode and thank God Mike called me 2 minutes into the next episode so I could leave. Phewf.

You know, they should do one of those shows, but have a regular guy, a geeky guy, some guy that wasn't the star football player and is "such a hunk." I guess the reason they haven't gotten one of those (in my opinion, better) guys is cause they are smart enough not to apply to something that lame. hehe go them. high five for you geeks and dorks out there. I salute you. That is probably why there aren't any different kinds of women on the shows either. No punks or goths, no just plain wierdos. I mean, can you see me or, say, Steppi on The Bachelor? hahahahahahahah!!!!!!!! It could be fun though; scaring them so badly. Hey, you could get the guy by scaring the rest of the women off the show. :D Still a lame show though.
