Spring Break Pt 1
Well, alas, Spring Break is over. And we are all back in Vermont and at Norwich. I will give a shortened version of my break, since it would take pages to write the full version.
The first day was the most exciting. We had to leave Norwich at 130am because we had a 550 flight out of Manchester, NH a few hours away. So none of us really slept which made the drive down there interesting. We got to the airport, checked in and went to security. I thought I had remembered to not put anything bad in my suitcase because I was carrying on. But, they had to look in my suitcase. That is when I remembered I had put my nail clippers in there by accident and later remembered my mini leatherman was in there. No, that is not what they wanted, seeing as how the security guy saw both of them and said nothing. No, they had to empty half m stuff into a second bucket to tell me that my little belt buckle was at a wierd angle adn looked strange. With that over, we got to our gate and sat to wait because we were really early. They start to board, in the zones now, not by rows, and looking at my boarding pass I realized that neither Mike nor I have zones or seats. So we get in line anyway and when we get to the counter the lady tells us to stand to the side. The rest of the group was ok with seats, but they were talking about bumping us. They found a family to get bumped to another flight so we could stay together, but the girl who planned most of our trip I thought was going to jump over the counter at the lady. It was bad. But we got on the plane and flew through Pittsburgh and into Orlando. Beautiful weather! :D We took a shuttle to the rental car place and met Desiree and Caldwell (they had an earlier flight from Pitt) who had gotten one of our rental cars, a Dodge Neon. Now, picture this: 5 people-3 guys 2 girls, 5 peoples luggage-Desiree had two suitcases, and one small dodge neon. Interesting. But yes, beause we had no other choice, we fit 5 people and their luggage into that small little car by putting luggage ontop of the 3 lucky people sitiing in the back(Me, Mike and Grotz).
OK, that was exhausting. I think I am going to write this in a long series. This is number one. I will finish day one and go onto the other days later. *phewf*

Well you know, exploding belt buckles are the new thing in airplane hijacking. Of course, it requires you to be a suicide bomber since you'd blow up with the buckle, but meh, such is the price you pay to be rewarded in the afterlife. Yeahhhhh...
And I love how the guards never notice the actually dangerous stuff- like my pcoketknife was never confiscated. wth?
HAHAHA I am visualising the Neon situation. hehe like clowns at the circus! hehe. This will teach you to travel without bungee cords to strap luggage to the roof ;-)
Love ya babe, can't WAIT to hear the rest of it!!!
