Finally home for the summer

I am home! Woohoo! It is really nice to be back in CO with the sunshine and mountains. It has been pretty hot though. AND, I BOUGHT A CAR!!!! woooooo! Finally! I have been talking to my neighbors since xmas about the '96 Corsica they were selling and the day after I got home, I bought it. My neighbor Eric fixed it up for me and it is a good little car. No AC, which can make it pretty hot in there during the days, but it's not that big of a deal. :) I am really happy and proud of myself because I have payed for every penny of this car with my own money out of my pocket. No help from parents. :) So now I am doing the job search thing, no luck yet, but I have calls into 6 or 7 different places. Hopefully I can get one soon.

This Wednesday my dear friend Amanda and her friend Michael are going to be stopping by here for a night. Amanda lives in California and she is driving back home from the East and since CO happens to be in between, she is stopping for a night. I am really excited. :)

And this Friday I leave for my fabulous and exciting vacation to Seattle to party it up with Melanna!!! Woohoo! We have been hoping a visit like this would work out, and it finally did. :) Quite happy.

3 DAYS UNTIL I GET TO COME HOME!!!!!!!!!

I can't wait! I have taken all of my finals, the only thing I have left is to go and correct my developmental exam. I already did it cause it was a take home, but i have to go back to correct it. I leave on Sunday, right after Graduation. I just put most of my stuff in storage yesterday and now my room is a lot emptier, but it is nice to know it is all set for the summer. I will take one more run Sunday morning to put in some last minute stuff like my bedding and anything else I need to put in there.

I can't believe how fast this year has gone....it seems like yesterday I got here. I can't wait to get home, but it is also kinda scary that I am now halfway through college. Ahhhh!

Things are coming together....

I can't believe how quickly this year has gone! It still is hard for me to believe that in 11 days I will be home for the next 4 months and I will have finished half of my college career. Really now, that is insane. Who put Father Time on speed?! Anyway, things are going pretty well considering I am about to start finals. Some of the things that were driving me crazy are starting to fall into place and work out.

1. I found Maude and Allie (my two rats) a ride to TX. The problem was getting them from TX to CO. Now I found out that the boyfriend of the girl driving them to TX wants to road trip to visit his friends in CO. So that means I can get the two munchkins home. :) Very happy about that.

2. No matter what, because Mikey and his mom are totally awesome, they said they can take me to the airport. Another thing out of the way! :)

3. I have a lot of crap here. And we will probably be moving this summer. Therefore, I have been instructed by mom to bring home as little as possible. Mike also has some stuff he will not be taking home. Solution? Summer storage unit! :) Splitting the cost and that takes a lot of the shipping and packing stress off of me. Woot!

Now all I have to do is pass my finals, buy a box to ship some stuff home in, pack and leave! :) Can't wait to see all my CO peeps! :D
