good year ahead

This year is going to be a good year I think. I like my roomate, we get along well. My room is in Patterson, which is the dorm I have wanted the last few years. Ironically, this is the first year Mike is not in Patterson and is way far away in Flint (but Flint is a university house, so he has a kitchen! and cable! and his roomate Terrence is cool)

I really like my classes, I think I am most excited about Exceptional Child, where I wil be learning about students at the extremes at both ends of the spectrum. I have always thought about teaching Special Ed and I think this is the perfect oportunity to see if I think it would be good for me.

Other than that, I am just planning on having a great year. :)

And it starts again

I am back up at Norwich. I like my room though, and I think my roomate is going to work out pretty well.

I drove out with dad and a friend from elementary school and it went really well. We dropped her off in PA at her school and then drove to Mike's house and after a few days there, Mike and I drove up to Lake George and stayed there a few days with Aunt Kathy and Bob and Scott and Andy and each of there friends. It was a really good time. :)

But alas, the summer is over and tomorrow classes start, but not until 10am. woot. :)

I did just get new tires and an oil change for my car though. That is happy. :) And now my car is too. :)

*dances* I get to see Mikey soon! :D

Less than 2 weeks...

until I leave to go back east! Which means that in less than 2 weeks I will be able to see Mikey again!!!! woooooohooooo!!!!! (not that I am excited or anything). I just found out that I might be adding a passenger and driver to our trip. Caitlin Eger from elementary school is interested in driving back with me and I really hope it will work. I think it would be a lot of fun and it would also be nice to have a third driver to help out. I think I will be finding out tonight if it will work out. :)

Once again, however, I am at the library and it is only minutes before I have to be at work and therefore the post must be short. oh well, we are getting DSL (and hopefully wireless if I can convince mom) on Thursday, so no longer will I have to make trips to the library to check my email.

I hope everyone has been having a nice summer. :)

Summer is almost over...

Well, we still don't have internet at the house. We tried for dial-up but it was retarded and never worked, but we will be getting DSL in a week, so woohoo! I leave on the 17th or 18th, still figuring that out. I can't believe the summer went so fast!

Yet again, however, I am at the Golden Library and now I must leave and go to work. I on;t work till 330 today though, yay!
