"I love Melanna" Post

I would like to write a post entirely devoted to Melanna's trip out here.

She flew out on a Thursday night and we got back here at like 2am. Friday I skipped class (we were watching a movie in class, you wouldn't have gone either!) and after lunch Amanda came with us to Montpelier. We wandered around and went into this little boutique called Salaam. We were fooling around and trying on funny glasses and hats and stuff and the lady behind the counter told me I should be in their fashion show! I ended up doing it the next weekend and it went really well! We went back to school and two of Amanda's friends were up and so the 5 of us girls hung out all night and watched a couple movies.

The next day Melanna, Mike and I drive up to Stowe and went to the Ben and Jerry's Factory (because if you cometo VT, you HAVE to to go Ben and Jerry's) That was fun and we got free ice cream at the end too, it was yummy. :) We wandered around Stowe for a while and had lunch at a little diner. Amanda and Melanna did my hair and make-up and it was fun. I felt pretty. :)

Sadly, Melanna had a flight Sunday afternoon, so we had to leave in the early afternoon. It was a great trip out, though and it was really nice to see her and I am really glad that she finally got to come out to Vermont! :) Yay!

(Sorry I forgot to write it earlier, Melsie....please forgive me...) :)

I'm back!

I know....it's been a while. But don't worry, I am not dead.

Spring Break was great and I know I didn't post a lot about it, but I took over 300 pictures in a matter of days, so that is a good sign that I had a good time. :)

Mike and I went home for Easter and it was a lot of fun. I saw his family again, which was fun; I hadn't seen them in a while and they are a fun group. I got to play with his aunt's new yellow lab puppy (so cute!) which fulfilled my puppy fix for a while. I also got to hold a 2-month old baby girl! She was ADORABLE! She was asleep the whole time, just lyin there all cute. hehe. Makes me want one....but not really.

I am babysitting and having a great time! Mainly for a 2 1/2 year old who is very bright and we have a lot of fun! I am also sitting for a 1 year old and she is great too. :D Plus it gives me some extra cash, which is always nice.

This weekend is Junior Ring! That means that I will be getting my Ring and there is all sorts of stuff to do! The ceremony is Friday, where we have dinner and get our Rings. I am on the committee this year for the ceremony and hopefully everything will go smoothly. The ball is Friday night too, my dress is so pretty! Saturday, Our Lady Peace will be here performing and there will be games and stuff to do, I can't wait! Mike said he has something planned, but I have no idea what it is; although it seems everyone else here does. :P I decided to splurge this year since it is my Jr. Ring this year and I am getting a manicure and a pedicure on Thursday! woot! That is going to be so nice!

Not too much else here, school is busy, we are all counting the days...

Once school is over, Mike, his mom, and I are headed on vacation for 6 weeks...to Scotland! :D I am so psyched!! It is his grad present from his mom and I was invited to go to!

Hope everyone's end of the year crunch isn't too bad!

Peace.
