Back at Norwich

I am back here in Vermont and things are going well. I like my classes and Sarah and I are getting along great. Our room is fabulous and I think we are going to have a lot of fun this year. :)

It is strange to be here without the engineers and stuff. Most of the people that I hung out with are gone and I won't really ever have any need to go to the ME study or lab. Weird. The construction on campus is crazy, the LP is gone and is now a big pile of dirt with construction vehicles on it. The paths around to all of the buildings are all skrewed up too. It will take a few weeks, but I think things will settle down and get more towards normal.

This weekend is my three year anniversary with Mikey! :) We are going camping up in Northern New Hampshire and I can't wait! woot! :)

Anyway, I think this year is going to be good. :)

I know you think I vanished...

but I am still here, I swear.

I have settled in at home nicely, I searched and thanks to the help of Melanna, got a part time job scanning documents (thrilling I know). It is boring, but it is only 4 hours a day and I get $10 an hour, so it is at least money. :) I am also doing some babysitting which has been a lot of fun! I am meeting lots of new people doing it and some of these kids are so cute!

I went to Marble and Glenwood with Dad and Sally and Steppie. It was really great to see Grandmother and Granddad again, I hadn't seen them in a long time. Granddad is 85 and is still bouncing off the walls! That man is crazy! :P

Mom and I just went camping in Jefferson (up 285, near Fairplay and South Park) for 4 days. It was gorgeous! We were up there over mom's birthday which was fun. We went fishing on her birthday and she caught a beautiful 10 inch Brook Trout! That was part of her birthday dinner that night. :) We also hiked part of the Colorado Trail, wow is that amazingly beautiful! It turned out to be an 11 mile hike! Let's just say mom and I were walking really slow that eveing and the next morining....ha.

Ian is coming up to visit this weekend, it will be nice to see him too. :) AND he is actually getting on a plane, yes an airplane, to come visit! It is cheaper for him to fly up here than it is for mom and I to drive down and visit. I am amazed we got him to go through an airport again!

Let's see......Melanna comes home in about a week! Yay! I can't wait to see her! Our birthdays are also coming up in about 2 weeks, we can just say that the week Melanna will be home is going to be freaking awesome! :D

I leave to go back to Vermont in just over 2 weeks, I can't wait to see mIkey again. :) Then it is off to Norwich, which apparently doesn't look so pretty anymore after they started construction...it was such a pretty campus! Oh, well. :)

Hope everyone is having a splendiferous summer!
