SNOW!

So, we are having a white Christmas. Yess indeedy, in fact, if you are not having one, we have enough to share! Almost 3 feet here and stranded in the house for a few days. It is pretty, when you are not on the roads. People do NOT know how to drive in the snow! ah!

Anyway, I am only home for a few more days and I hope that I get to see at leaast a few of my friends. :( Then off to celebrate New Years with Mikey! :D

Best...Class...EVER

So, I went to the bar last night....for class. That's right, you read that correctly. I'll explain.
I am taking PH400, a seminar style course on CS Lewis and JRR Tolkein. We all had to do a project of our choice (mine was about the Chronicles of Narnia and the Seven Deadly Sins...very cool). Anyway, two students decided to do their project on Lord of the Rings and video games based off of them.
SO. There is a bar that recently opened up about 2 miles down the road called Fiddler's Green. One half of the place has about 10 PCs and a few gaming consoles. The two guys asked the owner if they could do their presentation there and he said it was fine and our prof was cool with it, so last night we all met at the bar and had a brew (oh, and the guys presented too). We just hung out and drank and ate and watched LOTR and watched guys play the games and I talked with my professor about random stuff (he is a unitarian pastor). It was by far the best class ever. :)
Sweet.

End of Part I

First Semester is coming to an end. Crazy!

I will be going home for about 8 days and then coming back so Mike and I can finally have a New Years together! yay!

Not a while lot going on here except that I am working like crazy to get the projects and finals done before I go home!

I got to see the Nutcracker last weekend and it was awsome. I had not seen it in ages and it was a great weekend! :)

I think that is all for now....I don't feel like writing a lot. :P
