Update.
I would just like to say that I found out that no one was hurt in the fire last night. It was the Archetect house and someone left the stove on and that is what started it. The house is still structurally ok, but just damaged.
I am very relieved that everyone is ok. And people, don't forget to turn off the stove and blow out your candles when you leave the room or the house.

I'm glad everyone's ok- fire-detectors are wonderful things! I saw a house fire close up about ten years ago, and it freaked the heck out of me- a big A-frame house burned on top of my mountain. Anyway, I <3 you, and I hope all is well with you otherwise!
Freaky. I drove past it today. It doesn't look like it's going to be livable for a very long time.
wow. wow. I am glad everyone was okay. I can't wait to see you when you come back to CO!
