Nothing to Complain About
I was thinking that I wanted to update this and post about something, but I could not think of anything to write about. Nothing dramatic, extraordinary-good or bad-has happened recently, everything is just going; so why not write about that?
I am extremely busy.
*I have my thesis work to do, which involves individually scoring 90 surveys that have been taken over the last month or so. Although, it is tedious and will take a while, it isn't hard, which is refreshing.
*I have a lot of reading to do, but it is all pretty good reading-books I got to choose myself for Children's Literature-which happens to be my passion and I hope to have a career with Children's Lit someday, Lord of the Rings for my seminar class, and even the psych we are reading is interesting.
*I have portfolio work for my Pre-Student Teaching Portfolio, but it is pretty easy; again tedious, but not hard.
*I have "work". I put this in quotes because I babysit for a family and I love it. Sure I get paid, but I don't do it for the money. I love the kids and the parents, it gives me a nice break from school and I know it is great experience for me. I do work hard while I am there; feeding, changing diapers, coloring, painting, making and decorating the occasional batch of cookies, ya know the usual. :)
I have a lot of work, but nothing is terrible. As I was thinking about what to update about, I realized that my life is pretty good right now. Apart from missing Mike terribly and being a little disappointed in Mother Nature's decision to cloud over and either drizzle or rain a lot here, I have nothing to really complain about. And I like that feeling. :)
